Fish Lake is located near the village of Marcellus, just south of Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo is the closest metropolitan city, and it is only 32 miles north of the lake.
The closest airport is the Kalamazoo/Battlecreek International Airport, only 34 miles away. The nearest hospital is the Bronson Lakeview Hospital which is only 16 miles away.

The lake is also connected to the neighboring Finch and Saddlebag Lakes, so you can also take your adventure to other waters. Anglers should be on the lookout for bluegill, largemouth bass, walleye, and yellow perch.
Along the eastern edge of the lake is a restaurant known as The Rock At Big Fish Lake, which has glowing reviews, beautiful decor, and gorgeous food.
Other great eateries include Amy’s Fabulous Diner in the south, and Hungry Howie Pizza and Laura's Little Burger Joint in the north. The Heddon Museum, which features classic cars and fishing memorabilia, is also nearby.
Another great local attraction is the Pioneer Log Cabin Museum, where you can see how the great American pioneers lived and survived on the frontier, as well as displays from the first World War and other moments of history.
