Hammond Lake is located in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Downtown Pontiac is three miles northeast, and Detroit is 31 miles southeast.

The closest major airport is Oakland County International Airport, which is typically 17 minutes away. Urgent care can be provided at Pontiac General Hospital, seven minutes away.
